Just wanted to say goodbye to Paul Hester, former drummer with Crowded House, and musician on other projects. He was found in a park in Melbourne on Saturday. He'd hung himself.

I don't know his situation, but depression obviously got him. May he rest in peace, and his family and friends come to terms with their loss.

Unfortunately, part of being an artist is learning to handle the depression that comes from plumbing your emotional depths.

Poor guy...I feel sorry for his friends and family.

I never heard any crowded house but I bought the first and only studio album by split enz and I can tell you it was fantastic. I was touched by the news.
