Hey, I have a problem dealing with the Pro-Tone delay functions. When it is set to BPM/midi for the delay, it is on 1/4 initially. When I click on either of the 1/4's (for left or right), I get the following EXECPTION Message.

please help!

Does this happen when ProTone is set to external or internal bpm sync?

it happens on both INT and EXT. It has to do with the 1/4 factor of the delay. When you try to change that part, BAM, EXCEPTION. Its a crap deal because the creamware 'my page' is seeming always down recently, thus I cannot re-download. Lame-o.

The pop-up means there's an error indeed. doesn't need to be a functional one, could me something unimportant in GUI too.

So, you hear me coming: What happens if you click away the message? Does the delay work?

Good question. no, i cannot actually change the delay function at all. The EXCEPTION pops up upon click, and the click is nulled.

argh.

How about getting a new Oxe file from the shop? Have you tried putting the one you have now in /sfp/app/oxe and restarting sfp? Does reinstall help?

Well, I did the re-download of .OXE from the shop. No beans. Still get the same problem after installing. I have not reinstalled SFP, but I honestly think that it won't do anything for me.

Do you suggest re-installing SFP directly over the current copy? Is that a good procedure to 'refresh' possibly corrupted files?

Hmmmmmm.

Over-installing SFP never hurts. Unless you forget to backup your preset files, cset.ini. scope.rgy, startup project and whatever other CW file you customised.

Hmmm.. seems like a viable option. I'll consider this.

Dude, a world without advertising, thats a world without blind consumers! Imagine, people not being worried about materialism! That is something thats basically irreversible in todays society. Ads need people, and conversely, people need ads. How are you supposed to know about the new burger at burger king? Who's going to remind you that herbal essences will give your girlfriend multiple-organic experiences?

hah,

Thanks for the intel, btw.
