Most of the patches seem to focus on synths but I'd have thought Mod would be a great platform for developing really whacky and experimental effects too (along the lines of some of the Reaktor effects but without the CPU use) - esp with Flexor's granular modules. I haven't really found that many though apart from a couple of amp sims and some fairly standard effects. If anyone knows of some really interesting effects patches please let me know.

On one front, when you want to make new fx from existing ones (using inserts), many people here have been splitting audio up into frequency bands and sending them to different insert fx.
There's a thread or two on this subject, but i can't seem to locate them right now.
Also, did you use the filter function in the patches forum?
Try filtering for "utilities" there, as well as for "effects".

Thanks.
Apart from Interpole Scope seems to lack any really interesting effects plugins generally.

Have you tweaked a bit SSB Delay with any percussion loopin it?
Did you try the Flexor filters and saturation modules for the modular? You can make some brilliant FX with them.
And P-100, A-100 and I-100 verbs?
Just to say a couple things, but you won't find anything better of that type anywhere else.

I can't agree... have you ever tried Vorb or Psy-Fi by Orbitone?
