Hi, all. I've got a Pulsar 2 on a 733 G4, 892M RAM, OS 9.2.2 and Logic Platinum 6.3.1. No OMS, I'm driving the Pulsar from the MIDI ports. SCOPE seems to work okay when it's freshly fired up, but if the system's been running awhile, and especially if it's been to sleep and reawakened, the entire system will freeze when I load a new synth. The synth will load, and the mouse cursor will still move, but control of the OS is gone. If Logic is actually running at the time, it will keep playing, and I'll be able to hear the new synth. But I'll have to do a hard reboot before I can do anything else. Anybody else have this problem, have any suggestions? Oh, yeah, I don't remember this ever happening before upgrading to SCOPE 4.0.

And, on any OS, you don't want SFP to be running for days in a row... Restart it after some hours of work, or from time to time on loading of a new project.

Actually, it freezes whether sleep is on or off, it just freezes when it's been sitting awhile. I guess the only thing I can do is to restart SFP before I use it...but I still didn't have this problem under SFP 3.1.

I have it under 3.1 - SFP frequently runs idle in background (I don't switch the machine off when leaving it for an hour or so).
Later, when I come back and add certain plugins to the project, it just freezes - more or less predictable, no matter if it's a CWA or 3rd party plugin.
Since the situation can be cleared by just quit and re-open, I simply ignore it
cheers, Tom
