My new toy, thus first impression:
plastic, so not to recommend for live gigs. Will look a bit very used after ten...
Size: the thing is pretty deep, so measure your desk if it fits, before you buy.
Now for the "inner value":
The keyboard is good, immediate response, nice feeling.
The sliders, ok, no motor faders, but also good.
The control knobs are endless, very good.
The 16 pads are, well, they could be faster in response.
The joystick is a bit tiny, but just
Added is software, ableton Live 4, lite version and the effects from the Legacy collection.
Very nice.
You also get the editor to build your own presets.
16 can be loaded and easily switched.
To edit these with the board is kind of a pain, so the editor is really needed.
For me as a home only user a perfect tool.
Everything necessary is on board, it looks ok and there is no problem to use the elements.
(unlike my pocket control where I always get knob #2 and/or #4 when I'm rotating #3.)
To have better overview you can assign different colours for different function groups, like blue for synth, red for mixer.
Nice feature.
Result:
Perfect for me as a home user.
Only the pads are a bit stiff and the joystick is a bit tiny. (spillerig - in german, very hard to translate,
it means something between too small, not handy, more convenient for a puppet house)
But for Solaris+Vectron...
