Hi,
I'm trying to use the 'Kompakt' software sampler, both standalone and as a plug in for Logic Platinum 5.1.

What I find is that there are constant crackles when using ASIO through scope.

I've tried all the different SCOPE ASIO driver types (i.e. ASIO 1, ASIO 2 64 etc) all with the same results. However, when I use the more basic ASIO driver through my creative soundcard its all fine and the crackles go.

Is it just that creamware right really poor ASIO drivers? thats what Native Instruments have told me!

Any help as usual much appreciated!

Creamware's ASIO driver(s) are fine.
You might post your system specs (cpu/ram/motherboard make & model/harddrive configuration etc).

In fact don't just disable creative but disable EVERYTHING you're not using in the BIOS (extra parallel ports, serial ports) and do NOT use those nasty onboard RAID chips if u happen to have that too...

NEVER use a Creative soudcard with Logic Audio. If you have a legit copy of Logic you should know that. Check the plugin latency compensation box in Logic's Audio Driver preferences and see if that gets rid of your crackles.
