recently i discovered my search options window doesn't show up (live bar>set>search options). very strange, as it happens in every install i have on my computer (4 in total (1 for internet partition, 2 (3.1 and 4) on the old music only partition, and 1on the new music partition)).
when you click 'search options' the name is green highlighted, but nothing shows. i tried changing the position in cset.ini, but this doesn't help.

not a big deal, but somewhat clumsy after installing some new devices in new folders. loading such a new device brings up this search dialogue (where you could access the search option, but it's going too fast to click it) which i want to get rid off.

any takers? mac os922, scope4

Perhaps the 'always in front' setting of the workspace is covering it up? You can disable this by clicking on the proper icon in the upper right.

thanks valis, but i have tried that too. only the reduced live bar is visible (and moved that as well), but nothing there.

could anyone tell me what positions and everything else concerning 'ReferenceResolverOptions' reads in your cset.ini file?

many thanks

ok, here are my ReferenceResolveOption parameters copy'n'pasted from cset.ini- but it's for a two-monitor setup.Hope this helps anyway.If you've got just one, don't use this.
ReferenceResolveOptions_Show=0
ReferenceResolveOptions_PosX=302
ReferenceResolveOptions_PosY=104
ReferenceResolveOptions_SizeX=332
ReferenceResolveOptions_SizeY=250
good luck

hey! :smile: thanks,
but damn. it's just the same as in my cset.ini, so it wasn't of much help...

ah well... strange that i got on all 4 installs (3x scope4, 1x SFP3.1)

hi
Dont know if this is the same prob, but i
used a 15" as main monitor, and a 18,1" as slave.
SFP on 18,1" and cubase etc on 15"
When i changed, so 18,1" became main and 15" became slave, i lost the SFP mixer's.
I found they simply was out of "shown area".
So i went back and changed position of the mixer, and voila!

(settings: 18,1" 1280*960 and 15" 1024*768 and matrox 650)
