CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!
I AM A NEWBY TO THE WONDERFULL LAND OF PULSAR BUT WHEN TRYING TO RUN LOGIC TO USE XTC MODE, I GET A MESSAGE "XTC PLUG-INS ARE NOT AVAILABLE WHEN ANOTHER CREAMWARE APPLICATION IS RUNNING"
OBVIOUSLY IF I TURN OFF SCOPE PLATFORM THEN THERE IS NO ASIO DRIVER, SO LOGIC DOESN'T LOAD
PROBABALY SOMETHING SIMPLE, BUT AS I SAID I AM NEW
THANKS

You have to activate XTC mode in SFP's settings dialog, and then close the SFP software. You should now be able to load Logic normally, and the ASIO stuff will be there.
And while you are at it, turn off that caps lock too =P.

Thanks mate, I'll try that when I'm back in the studio, sure I've tried that though, maybe I didn't turn off the SFP software properly. Do you just exit the programme?
As I said I am a beginner!!!
Caps Lock is Off.
Thanks.

there is a project for xtc. it is located scope/app/xtcapp/xtcproject.pro if i remember correctly. you may need to edit it, to have the io and asio channels arranged as you would like them.

Thanks again guys,
I have tried all of the above and Logic still doesn't load when I exit Scope.
This is what I did.
When Scope loads I went to Settings and ticked Activate XTC.
The I goto FILE>EXIT. it asks me if I want to save Project I say YES
Then when I try to open Logic, there is NO ASIO Driver so Logic doesn't load
What is SW? (is it scope window?)
I'm not at the level yet to understand abreviations
Sorry,
Thanks again. but I' so need this to work, i want to be where all you guys are at. Taking full advantage of PULSAR2
Is there a problem with XP?

No problem with XP. Also Logic isn't the idea app to try out XTC mode with. You'll be restricted to using SFP on mono and stereo AudioTrack and Audioinst objects because they're the only ones that will compensate properly for the latency that DSP card based fx add (same applies to Powercore and UAD-1). I use Logic PC still as do many other people here, and most of us prefer SFP mode...

what is in the xtcproject.pro?
also, i concur that scope mode is way cooler for tracking.

Ok, I guess I found something =P. Just re-install SFP4 over your current installation. If you're like me, you installed SFP4 before Logic. Seems tho that, if you install SFP4 first, some things don't get installed/initialized right in Logic. This should take care of the ASIO not working.
Follow the instructions in the XTC thread in the "Tips and Tricks" section to setup your XTCProject.
I guess it might be related to registry keys getting eaten by registry cleaners application.
My current problem now tho is that XTC plugins don't appear in Logic =P. Musta been abducted by aliens. Once I figure it out (and steal all the nifty alien technology (hey calm down I'll give it back when I have it cloned and improved =P)) I'll post some other nonesense about it.

Thanks guys,
Tried all of the above, but still no XTC mode within logic still .if I turn Scope off then logic does not load as there is no ASIO driver. Grrr
Getting fed up with it now, i bet it's something stupid, maybe something i need to tick.
Any more ideas please

Sworn you have to activate XTC mode in the options panel inside SFP. Run SFP, find this and enable it, then close SFP and run logic.
However again I suggest finding other methods or you're most likely bound to find other irritations later...
