Hello,

I have problems with Live 4 when using ASIO2 - 24 bit drivers. It crashes after a few seconds when using ASIO SCOPE.

But sometimes it works OK. That is in the following case: when I power on computer and if Scope needs more then a minute to load devices in DSPs than there are no problems..

I didn't try any other software except Live.. But I will..

Anyone has solution/workaround?

thanks..

The problem was in MachFive VST..

But still.. why my scope needs a few minutes to load devices into DSPs.. and sometimes it doesn't load them in an hour..

Scope doesn't report any error.. It looks like everything is ok (I can see modules and move/connect them) but DSP Meter shows that DSPs are empty.. also ASIO drivers don't work and there is no sound comming out from any output..

It is not ADAT sync problem or something.. I created micro project with mixer, wave source and analog dest and I still have the same problem..

It is strange that when I got it it worked ok.. but in last days I noticed this problem very offten..

Can anyone help me please.

I have original Scope 4..

you know you have to load SFP first, before any ASIO using program like Live?
I guess so...

Yes I know..

but modules are not loaded into DSPs. That is the reason why ASIO drivers don't work..

strange problem.
If it's not pc related, it could be caused by corrupted Scope files.
to follow Gary's usuall device: re-install Scope from scratch, and save you a lot time
(take care for your projects and preset folders).

yes, that often solves things quickly when they don't work as they should  .

before starting from scratch, i would try reinstalling scope directly over the top of the current install(you may overwrite corrupt files without losing any user files). you might try reinstalling the driver as well(in the device manager).

It doesn't help.. I uninstalled old SFP and installed new and it is the same..

Today I didn't get SFP it to work eaven waiting a few hours.. I think tomorow it will work :> because this is not the first time that it doesn't work for a longer period (a few hours).. and I did power off computer for a while..

It is strange because SFP can find hardware if I open registry window..

Anyway, I will contact CW and ask them if they know anything about this?
