Since installing my very old Pulsar into my very new PC, I get a message that the "Creamware Pulsar" driver is preventing the system from going into suspend mode (when left unattended for a few hours). Is this typical/expected behavior? Is there a setting somewhere to make the Pulsar play nicer with my system?

pulsar runs in the backgruond and won't allow suspension. You can disable the creamware from loading up .But suspension on HD ? why?

This is also the reason why CW drivers aren't 'signed': they don't comply with the powersaving stuff. You cannot expect DSP's to reload their OS when a computer resumes from standby, or to keep it in memory...

If you close SFP or it's icon, it should be fine to suspend and resume though.

Thanks for the replies. I just noticed the message after leaving the PC on a couple times (overnight, off to work) and thought I'd ask.
