My Win XP is configured to 'Standard PC' and not ACPI. My existing card the Audiophile 2496 works fine but I had a look at the IRQ settings that the card was on and I'm a bit worried about what will happen when I install the Scope Pro card (I'm removing the Audiophile). My IRQ's are as follows:-

Resources by type:-

Only PCI IRQ 5 and 11 are used

PCI 5 Intel(R) 82801EB Ultra ATA Storage Controllers
PCI 5 Intel(R) 82801EB USB Universal Host COntrollers - 24D7
PCI 5 Intel(R) 82801EB USB2 Enhanced Host COntrollers - 24DD
PCI 5 M-Audio Delta Audiophile
PCI 11 Intel(R) 82801EB SMBUs Controller - 24D3
PCI 11 Intel(R) 82801EB USB Universal Host COntrollers - 24D2
PCI 11 Intel(R) 82801EB USB Universal Host COntrollers - 24D4
PCI 11 Intel(R) 82801EB USB Universal Host COntrollers - 24DE
PCI 11 NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT

Resources by connection:-

The same as above

There looks like a lot a stuff sharing the IRQ with my soundcard ?
What do you suggest I do when I install the scope board.
I cannot disable the USB ports in the BIOS because I use them in the other 2 partitions I have.

Do I simply need to put the cars in a different slot ? - I could get rid of my old dial-up modem - I have broadband now.

Thanks for any advice

My motherboard is an ASUS P5P800

Perhaps I'll stick it into in the PCI slot my old modem is in and see what happens......
