Can anyone recommend a good vocals sample CD...

A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

For use in house music production. I would like basic building blocks/vocal phrases - oohs aahs scats etc. Stuff that comes in a range of pitches? Also longer phrases if not too cheesy or overused.

I've looked at Spectrasonics Vocal Planet which looks brilliant but way too expensive for me at the moment.

Spectrasonics Vocal Planet is great and too expensive  one is Zero-G.Creative Essentials vol-04(Dance Vocal)which is not so expensive. also ProSamples Vol 12 - Dance Vocals. Xmas sale is comming...you should get discount.

You could check out Vocaloid Leon, Lola or Miriam... but to be honest, as a singer I think they sound terrible and artificial.

Yeah - I'm waiting for them to improve a bit!
