Recently upgraded to SX3 which looks good but MIDI is delayed in playback when playing Scope devices or external devices via scope ports.
I've tried changing from emulated MIDI drivers in Cubase but no Joy. Steinberg are looking into it for me,at least I hope they are. Just wondered if any other Scope users had come across this problem.

In Sx2 there's an option called 'use system time' (I think)......I haven't upgraded yet, so don't know if it's in 3, but it was supposed to help......?

I've tried switching that on and off but it doesn't seem to make any difference!

I've also done the non emulated ports thing and that didn't have any effect. I think it must be something to do with SX3 drivers as the system has worked perfectly with SX1 and SX2.

bad install....? what driver and what ulli setting? it is scope that has the driver, not sx3, and as you said it always worked before, so it's not a driver issue...(sx3 would be designed for the same driver)

Do you mean a bad install of SX3.Surely wouldn't a bad install would throw up more errors than this?
I'm using SFP 3.1c and the slowest ULLI settings, can't remember what the figure is, possibly 25ms.

maybe not. SOMETHING'S screwy and sx3 was the only change...maybe the sx3 install screwed up something else in the os(registry file or?...) maybe a reinstall(over the top) will fix it...
