Answer from CreamWare GmbH
.............The SDK is available for all owners of a Scope board (14 / 15) for FREE under non-commercial SDK agreement.
For further details see attached PDF agreement. Users of the 14/15 DSP cards have to print out 2 copies, sign both copies and send them to Siegburg. After we receive the copies we will return one fully signed original, SDK 4.0 CD plus referring activation key.
Best Regards

Welcome news to me!
Is it OK with CWA to post it? I'd be happy to provide one source for people to download from, and post the link here.

CWA Germany sees no problem is sharing the file.
I like to share this file with others and have it posted but don't know where and how.

Well, it's a little hard to sing praises over a PDF form...I personally have been waiting for an official press release before I start jumping up and down.
Really, I am very, very, glad it's out, and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that CD...congwats to da guys in Goymany.

read what
you grant to CWA under L4 - and then continue laughing and jumping...
cheers, Tom

What's wrong with L4?
If you're releasing a plugin for free anyway, what do you care what CW does with it? I suspect most free developers would even be proud to have their plugins distributed by CWA.
This version of the SDK is not for commercial developers -- as L1 specifies.

nothing wrong with it, Johann - it's just important, the usual small print stuff.
L4 says nothing but
...if you happened to write the most terrific and requested plugin that the world searched for decades, then you give CWA the irrevocable right to market and even sublicense that stuff...
I know we're all hobbyists and do it for our personal fun - but the thing is out not even one day and the first thread in general forum is in a strictly commercial (...but what if...) context
cheers, Tom

I'm really happy about all this SDK getting out.
But related to thefax number where I can send the 2 copies of the agreement, can it be to Canada or it should be to the Germany offices?.

snoopy , what would the office in North America do for you? this agreement is between the head office in Siegberg and you (read the very first paragraph of that agreement.
a copy of the license to be signed by an official in Germany (most likely Wolf, the managing Director) and sent back to you with the SDK CD, So sending it to the wrong country won't get it done. don't you agree?

But what about a FAX number? Do we have to snail-mail it in?

Never mind, I hadn't read the other thread yet.

I think you are right antar.., gee man I was just wondering if for them on Canada would be easier and , most of all, faster to send the CD to my address. But as you pointed clearly (and vehemently) Germany is the place to send the fax.
