Will you pay air fares?

I could do with an overseas trip like that.

I really don't think Amsterdam is a place that I should go, I never was any good at resisting temptation...probably wouldn't come home.
It would be fun though...unitl I dropped dead from my excesses!

Maybe you should write what you have trouble with. If you have Cubase integration problems, then it may not be the right thing to get a Sonar freak - and the other way around.

I'd go to Amsterdam, but I'm on the west coast, USA....probably not the cheapest option
Please do post your system and problems, its possible we may even be able to help you here? Use the Problem Solving forum of course...
Oh and totally unrelated:

Is there something you're not telling us Bassdude?

I would like to help you, but
1. I'm not good in solving problems
2. I know nothing about linking systems otherwise than I've read on planetz
3. I'm on mac so I am...
At least I can offer you a drink and a joint in club Panama where dj Sander Kleinenberg (family related to friends of me, that's why) presents his new album during a party, on friday 24 sept.

I promise to listen to your DAW problems

I have already "smartly" visited Amsterdam with this guy, Rudy Maxa:

What's with the public toilets in the middle of streets?

To bad one cannot take some of that cannabis home!

Hi,
have you thought about contacting CreamWare Germany and spoke to Ralf and see if he can spend a sunday at your studio of course for a service fee that is not related to Creamware.
These guys may be able to offer some work on the side and are closer to the city??
just a thought.

I live about an hour away from Amsterdam but I'm not sure I would make a very good troubleshooter...

For now it would be 5hrs of flight, I'm in Israel
After that it's back to work for 7 days. But yea, it's about a 2hr drive from home, which is ok for a weekend or even a day. If there's time for you, virtualstudio, I could make it the first weekend of october, that's the first next occasion. So if things are still not settled by then, feel free to drop me a note... Hope you can get it sorted by then though!!
Also, if the machines are online and it's only setting up software settings, one could use VNC or something and do it remotely - that's how I like to fix machines from workmates etc... but these are usually not so demanding as delicate DSP configurations eh.
Anyways, good luck, virtualstudio!
at0m.

is Nieuw-Vennep close enough (25km) ?
Let's see what can be done to solve your problems, Scope wise then.

update;
saterday more than 4 hours trying to get a projekt(song) loaded and stable running.
than at six suddenly it was ok.
in the evening this nice guy Rasta, who red my message here came to check on my system and gave me some advice, but as the system seemed stable than he good also not do much.
he also said to put my scope board more away from the matox video card.
I'm now using slot 1(15dsp)3(6dsp),5(6dsp)so what he suggested to put my scope(15dsp)in pci slot 2.
any idea's on that?
sunday all day unstable, constant loosing wordclock, dsp overload, ......

frustrating
this morning after doing the whole alcohol treatment again, it looks stable.
