Hi
I can only seem to record from the left analog input when in XTC mode?
Anyone had a similar problem?
Anyone fancy giving me a solution?

could it have something to do with this:
...the first two ASIO Sources are always (in VST anyway) the Master (summed) output of VST, whilst 3 onwards are the individual bussed outs... (quoted from Mr. A)

sorry, I don't understand the quote. As I understood it the first two inputs (L and R) were analog in, the second two inputs (L and R) were digital in and the final two were a bus of what was being played through the card to enable audio mixdown onto a single stereo track

the quote refers to some ASIO conventions (or rules ?) when used together with a VST host.
Obviously they are not arbitrarily accessible - and you just might 'start' at the wrong position.
I don't have a VST host, but I remember something with numbering and offsets, faintly...
cheers, Tom

it is user assignable, but my XTCproject.pro is configured to have analog Left and analog right on the first two channels... don't know where analog right is though, won't record a thing

if the xtcproject is set right and the proper input is selected in cubase, then it HAS to work, period, assuming that there is something connected to the input with a good cable.
