If you get this problem, see
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 8&forum=19 Put your oxe files in the app/oxe folder. Restart Scope.
Thanks for that solution. I was all over the net, because XP can get "access is denied" messages when you, say, do a re-install and change your folder locations. So I kept trying to change my permissions like MS says. But it wasn't that.

On second thought, I haven't been able to execute my oxe files, so maybe it IS the security permissions. But they seem to be right. Anyway, it's working now.

On third thought,
maybe I get "acces is denied" on the oxe files right now because they're creamware internet packages, and the server's down. My other executables run alright. ( aHaa! )

Have you tried to put the .oxe files in /SFP/App/Oxe/ ? Then they will be installed by SFP next time you open it. You can use this when double-clicking doesn't work... In both cases, restart SFP after installation.

Doubtful...I was getting this problem under XP as well and haven't modified security at all; thanks for the solution.

for me it worked to "Open with" and select the plugin installer. so for some reason the standard program assigned to the oxe file is set to NONE

take care
