Hi All,
Just having started to use my Creamware cards (i now have a Pulsar2 and a Luna2 w/added I/O-Box) I've recently experienced a problem when trying to make use of my SPL Vitalizer Jack (also recently aquired) - the setup in this case is:
Wave Source 1 -> I/O-Box outs 1/2 -> Vitalizer -> I/O-Box ins 3/4 -> Wave Dest 2

The recorded audio always has frequent (almost constant) Pops on it, regardless whether the Vitalizer is turned on or not, so I don't think that the problem lies there. Apart from that the material seems to be recorded fine.
Is there a general problem with Scope recording its own output?
Please help!

Thanks, Jo

no :wink:, as long as you write to only one wave driver at the end of the processing chain - say like a tape recorder.

You typically monitor in real-time before the 'tape' (in SFP), so it doesn't matter if the data is written with 100ms or 3 seconds of latency.

But if you build processing chains (like in your example), then wave devices are inappropriate - use ASIO instead.
