Why is this here if you didn't use any Scope products to produce it? This is not the Yamaha DSP factory forum...

Recorded with DSP Factory, most probably mixed with scope. It's an old song and I don't remeber the details. Wanted to share it here. If thats a problem, then please ignore

ps: I'm using my own server for hosting this song.

Hmm, I like this kind of rock music, not always but mostly.

I guess this song is nearly ready.
Can you final master this track in a pro studio?
For me it could be a bit stronger in the low freqs. It sounds perfect in the mids and highs but it needs a counterpart in the lows.
Maybe you can give a bit more power to the BD and Bass?

Beside this I really like this track, the text and the music as it is.
Thanks for the share.

EDIT:
Forget the low counterpart thing, I had bad settings on my monitoring. Sounds fine now, sorry

Hi Chris

Thanks for your constructive words, for both songs
You are right about the mastering, thats not done properly yet. I put all through default settings in my chain and that was all. I need to concentrate on mastering as soon as all the tracks are mixed.

Another good one. The vocal sits better in this one compared to your other song (The_one) at the start.

Like Chriswerner, these are going in the pulsar planetz folder.

Being a bit more critical, through my monitors, I'm hearing a bit of that typical digital "ring" on the hihat/cymbals. Are you pushing eq on the drum mix bus or using an exciter like PsyQ?

Hi Bassdude

Thanks for commenting. Could you be more precise with that problem in cymbals? It might be possible that you have found a problem that my monitors are not revealing. Can you describe, is there a certain frequency I should be listening to?
What I can remember, no exciters were used.
This is interesting, as I heard a bit similar feedback from another person.

Thanks

I say Digital ring but that's probably not really the best way to describe it. It's like there are certain high frequencies resonating and they produce a HF ringing sound which is ever present behind whatever is being played on the hihat/cymbals. It's a subtle effect and to me it gives cymbals a hard edge rather than making them sound soft and fluffy.
