I have recently bought the ProTone synth from CW site and have been trying it out with no other problems. But for some reason when I try selecting the LFO/CLOCK MIDI Value drop down box on the Main page to change the rate, when the LFO SETTINGS MIDI/Hertz switch on Add page is set to MIDI, it gives the following Exception error;

nil reference on left side of '.' as a result of expression "goBorder"

Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to fix it. Thanks.

it's a Windows error message referring to some GUI stuff - what OS and Scope version are you running ?

cheers, Tom

Thanks for the feedback, chaps. At least its a known bug and not just me :smile:

But is there any way to get hold of the old ProOne installer. Megerov, do you happen to have the old ProOne installer file you could send me? I expect ProOne has the same activation code as ProTone seeing as the only thing they supposedly changed was the name, so it might be worth a try.

I don't think CW will send me an old version of it, but how long till they fix this error God only knows :smile:

Anyways, thanks again.

well, fidox and megerov have already solved the case, though it doesn't really help, as it infact seems to be a bug.

Unfortunately your idea with the different installer will not work for two reasons: the device is generated by CWA specifically for your board and the 2 versions are 2 completely different synths :sad:

sorry, Tom

megerov,

Thanks very much matey. Sorted. Yes, there is a copy of the Pro-One.oxe installer in the Optional Plug-ins folder in SFP 4.0 zip file. And it works a treat. Thanks again, you're a star :smile:

fidox, give that a try too and it should work for you as well.

I just got this synths as well with a 2nd hand card i bought and immediately found this bug. Seems CW never fixed this then. :sad:
I'll try the pro-one instead.
