I'm sad because somebody told me my music is available somewhere in the net (soulseek). I can't check it at the moment because I can't get to some ports on at my work (to avoid Kaza and so on)... Our album is ready and we're waiting for the exact release date. Somebody from our friends had to put it on a server

To make some interest we give copies of our album to journalists and tv, radiostations' music directors to prepare reviews and it's probably because of that......

Yes, I don't like that kind of "sharing" either. Sharing is a misused word here. Because, when people share they usually give some of what they have to somebody else. Here they give, what a third person has to somebody else.

on the other hand, if they upload your stuff before release, you're already (almost) famous - at least in good company...

but you seem concerned, so in Poland this might be less promotional, but more drying out the market.

(my advise is to try to keep confidential until it is actually released. not always easy to do though. requires total paranoia ).

Thanks for your repies, guys It's strange but the situation both frightens me and make my selfish soul grow... I know I can't do anything about it as bigger than me can't jump over it and from the othere side it means we are somehow popular

Yeah, the album WILL be released now we are waiting for the cover art to be finished and some final agreements have to be established. All I know this will be the forthcoming fall.
