Anyhow, a more urban, more solid jazz this time. I think it's actually more jazz than it is hiphop.
Heavily uses Celmo's amp sim. I'm seriously growing fond of the "feel" this plugin gives to the overal texture of the mix. (applied on individual tracks tho)
mostly sample tank 2, wurlitzer from Scarbee through Kontakt.
Hope you like. Any comments appreciated.

Am I the only one experiencing a rather "unusual" effect like when using a stereo-expanser on the mix?
I also noticed this on your last upload.
It sounds wrong in my ears.....?
Oh, and the music is cool!

I think it's celmo's amp simulator. It induces a sort of phasing effect and makes things sounds out of phase. Er, I believe it may actually be out of phase. So, that's probably what sounds kind of "stereo expander"-ish. Probably makes it mono-incompatible, but I think it sounds cool.

as always, your strengths as composer show through. sounds a bit like the drums are in a different room and the whole thing seems a little lacking in low mids(maybe a bit much high mids?).....sounds kinda like listening to an open air play from a distance through a parabolic ear(mic)....like a band in a movie with dialog in front of it....
