It´s some time ago since I post some music from me. Now it is time to present you another track.
We all know those nice sounds that start their action when you release the key.
I´ve found a very good sound in the new FM7 sound volume 2 and I like to share my todays work or experiment with you.
I am a bit proud about the singer sound I´ve created. I traveled through a male greek drone sample with Reaktors Travelizer and found an awesome female result

.
Main synths are FM7 and Reaktor. Sequence comes from the motion synth from ugo.
As always, enjoy it and reply your thoughts please.
Let me drift you away, hopefully....
cheers

very much reminds me of one of my favorite bands, Tangerine Dream.
ethereal, evocative, dreamy, spacey.
nice use of textures, the low end is a nice internal message.
also reminds me of Bowie's "Low" period, but with way better sounds.
the vocal processing sounds "Sheila Chandra" like.
It's cool.

it will run in loop for a while here
There's a sound very close to peter Gabriel's Passion. Does it come from FM7 or Reaktor (or a cw synth?) ?
Excellent sound, mix wise, too.

I know the Prophet5 (ironically) is used all over that record.
Very nice track! Reminiscent of Pete Namlook.

Evocative and ambient as usual, Chris.
If you would add a rhythmic bassline loop and some electric guitar solos it would be extremely "tangerine" indeed

Mostly I like your music. Also this one but I have a suggestion here.
Think that there is too much RMS, and stereo picture is little bit left/right oriented so there is nothing in the middle.
Track is excellent and keep it flying Chris

Man chris, this is sooo great...
I got totally caried away. Actually I like the broad stereopicture very much, I just think that the "dap--de-dap" brigth resonant synth that keeps the rythm is a bit too loud and have a little too much reverb on it.
Elsewize, thank you for this awesome experience...

Thank you very much for your honest replys.
Mehdi, I don´t know what sound you meant but it must be the FM7 because Reaktor process the voice and plays the high glitter sequence you can hear on the end of the track.
Noah, you are very right about the high part of the sequence, it´s to dominant, I should play around with filter during the track to bring some changes. The width stereo picture comes from the WavesSurroundReverb, it´s a very nice Reverb for short money.
It´s nice that I could carry you away for a short time.
More will follow soon.

it's the sound which begins at 9 second and until 17 seconds (but it is more Gabrielish later in the track. may be it is just the melody, I didn't compare with "Passion" it just reminded me of it, but I think it the sound itself, kind of big horn).
Prohet5 : hehe funny indeed

Personnally i don't dislike the hi freqs, it makes it a bit "psy-trance" sound in a way, but well, tastes etc... I thought it was refreshing to hear something different for once (i'm fed up of current industry "standards").
it's true that there is something strange in the middle pan
(hole) (i didn't noticed it when listening the first time, on the sofa

). But I don't dislike it neither, it makes some kind of special effect here when i put my head more left or right. pretty nice. (may be it makes technical problems afterwards, i don't know).
