. . . and Im not going to travel anywhere
. . . and its raining outside! Lovely!
All Im going to do is to make music, work out, chill, and party.
Am I weird? Maybe.
Am I cool? Definately.

Does it rock to have 5 weeks vacation? Absolutely!
So, how are YOU going to spend the summer?

I've plans to take the bike 'Up North' to the Lake District and Scotland around September time for a couple of weeks,
which is also when I'm going to see Rush at Wembley Arena!
Whether I go for B&Bs or camping depends rather on the condition of my ailing finances.
I also plan to take a week off pretty soon (maybe next week) just to concentrate on some music - finish off a couple of tracks that I don't seem to have the time for at the moment.
5 weeks sounds very nice, though - enjoy!

I have almost no vacation. Only a few days and 2 of them I plan to spend in Legoland (the one in Denmark) with my son. It'll be at the end of august.
My free time (besides composing

) I'm going to ride my bicycle and learn to develop objects for my second love
Trainz Railroad Simulator. I'm a railway freak-fan, you know

This is day 2 of 9 weeks!!
The only minor thing is that after approx 4 weeks 'Ricardo junior' should arrive...Can't wait! Will it be a boy or a girl???
Better enjoy sleeping till then.
BTW Nisse it's winter here.
Aha! Samplaire, hence the Railroad theme.

THAT is one loud motorcycle! I had one next to me the other week - just idling it was deafening! Beautiful thing.

Some sort of European invention. I think it has to do with "socialism", another word I can't find anywhere in my North American dictionary.
Grumpf!

I was amazed to find out about typical American employment laws first-hand when I went to Chicago on a business trip a couple of years ago. After working about five years for the same company, my friend there was entitled to about two days holiday a year!
He also said that it wasn't necessary for him to give notice to his company should he want to leave, and the opposite of that was also true.

I just got back from a 10 day honeymoon in Maldives. (islands south of SriLanka) I got a open-water diving license there, plus Nitrox license. (oxygen enriched gas) I also took some underwater photos so maybe I can share them once I figure out what kind of fish I saw.
Any divers on planetZ?

I just came back home from my trip. It was four days and 1800 kilometers.
No accidents, no speeding tickets, so it was a succesful journey
If guys want to see Lapland, remember to go north enough: I went just to Kittilä.
( You can find it here
http://maps.laplandfinland.com/map/lap.php )
You should go at least to Muonio, preferably higher, to see the landscape really change.
We drove north from Tornio to Övertorneå on Sweden's side of the river. Nisse, swedish guys drive really fast! The limit was 110 km/h, we drove about 130 and were overtaken many times....

Yeah, Lappland is really beautiful.
And no damn Fin is going to go faster than us on our roads! Its a matter of pride you see

one should keep in mind that in the area övertorneå-överkalix-kalix-haparanda (a pretty respectable area) there's only a few policemen, sometimes the number is T W O.
so obviously people up there consider the
speed limits to be "suggested only".
sadly a result of swedens' idiotic "well if you move to a bigger town you'll get a job"-policy.

I was just thinking how do swedish police cars look like.. and was it in Övertorneå, we saw one! Luckily we were just turning, so didn't drive very fast

So we have a conclusion, bigger == better
I guess it's the same everywhere, isn't it? Here in Finland, yes.
