Subject: will the upgrade be for sale or free?

i don't understand....
the upgrade is for free or we will have 2 pay?

and, beside the integration with VST there are other improvements? if one does not use VST should upgrade or not?!?!

thank you!

Subject: B)

it´s no upgrade for pulsar users.
xtc will be a function of the next software version of pulsar, and as always, that update will be free, of course.

in that version, you can switch between the xtc mode and the normal pulsar mode that you already know.

well, for people who don´t have a pulsar (poor them ;) there will be an srb board with just the xtc part of the pulsar software. that will cost about 1000 € or so... but we´ll get xtc for free ;) nice creamware, nice...

apart from xtc integration, i don´t know which bugs will be solved in that new version. maybe the slow controlling of the modular? maybe the inaccurate vu´s? we´ll see...
(it only can get better... har har har... just joking ;)

Mo

p.s. your main question was, which benefits do you gain, as you are no vst user.
well, i´m using cakewalk, which also lacks vst, but at the moment i´m playing around with some demoware from steinberg, just to get into it...
maybe the 300 € for cubase vst are not the worst investition.

So, what's for the poor Pulsar I owners?
Eh?

It is a software feature, so does not matter if you have a Pulsar I or II.

Will the XTC software for existing Pulsar I & II users include the Vectron and the Volkssampler?

It's a thought

Subject: xtc mode in the new pulsar software version

the xtc-package will be sold for 999€, so you had to 'downgrade' from pulsar [;
no, there will be a xtc mode and a pulsar mode within next pulsar software versions.

hi mo,
you seem to be informed well. what about pulsar1 user or, like me, pulsar1+powersampler user, will they also be able to use the xtc software upgrade, or is it only for pulsar2?

I'm sure Ingo said that the Pulsar II software will be updated, so all Pulsar II owners like you and me can benefit from the new interface.
