Everytime i use MiniMax it freezes the notes. So if i have programmed a melody after a few notes MiniMax hangs at on Note. If i make a midi Reset ( Panik button ) i have to do this 3 to 8 times to get Minimay quiet.
Im shure it have something to do with note off signals .. but idont know what i could do ..
Its nerving it hangs every 20 seconds .. not usuable for me in the moment
Sequencer: Logic Lite PC
SFP 4.0
thanks

that reads like a midi loop - do you have Logic set to 'midi-through' ?
if you enter the notes by a midi keyboard, a non-matching powersupply has similiar effects.
Those wall warts can be strange... recently the one loading my mobile phone run mad and increased it's output from 4 to some 10V unannounced and unrequested.
Locked the phone completely and faked an 'unable to load battery...' error
just 2 cents, Tom

OK .. it seems i have solved the Problem
It is a 2 Voice track and Minimax is set @ 2 Voices. And if i change Minimax to 3 Voices there are no hangs anymore.
But why have this efect with 2 voices if i only play 2 notes at same time ?
confusing ...
but .. its ok ..

Hey that's weird....I must confess, I have noticed similar behaviour with Minimax - sticking notes, I mean (although not as bad as that).....usually after working on something for a few hours, and cycling Cubase. Reloading Scope seems to sort it out though....strange that it's cumulative.

I noticed this problem right away with Minimax. Play it long enough, and notes get stuck. Changing the polyphony 'resets' it... If it wasnt for this, I'd want to use it on stage, but it's made for studio only I guess.
ps I also get the same problem with stuck notes in the B2003 - and the only way I've found to fix it is to remove the B2003 and start it up again.

Try to set more voices in devices ...
that helped me ...
If you play with 10 fingers you have to
set it to 11 voices

or 20 ?
puh..

I have the same problem under Cubase SX2.
Even if I use 1, 2 or 3 voices! One note will get stuck, and sometimes it works by just changing preset, and sometimes I have to reload Minimax!
Thought it was a "feature" with SX since I've got a problem with disappearing Midi Inputs (all midi ins on all the midicontrollers stops responding. midi outs are still ok!)
Feels like Minimax deterioates (spelling?) just like the projects, will work OK for a while, leave it on for an hour or two, not much is working as it should (snap, crackle & pops and stuttering recording!)

If you don't have a sequencer to send the All Notes Off message, cycling MIDI channel on the DSP device always resets all notes too, so at least you don't have to reload any devices.
Same problem here btw, [r4ge], with the Minimax...
