We're proud to announce the new Ambience A100 high-end reverb for the Scope platform.
This version is a pre release and NOT the final version.
Kind regards

Another fine release - ever wandered how to get that dry but-not-dry vocal sound ?....this is the answer

Hey Plato,
Exactly, you're right.
Most useful on vocals (mentioned by Plato), mono sounds, percussions (drum, hihats etc.) and samples (since many of them are mono files).
Also very useful for blending different sounds together - So they have the same "room" sound.
Cheers

I'm getting an error when I try and load the A100 and the P100 at the same time. Something about dsp memory.
I can load 2 P100's no problem.
A100 sounds very good if you can fix this error I will buy it.

Hey MOFO,
Is there a difference if you change the order of loading (first A100 and P100 second)?
Kind regards

For me it's giving me PCI-overflow errors if I use P100 and A100.

No, it makes no difference what order I load them. Here is the error message.
(A capacity limit of your DSP cards has been reached.
The specific cause is:
Not enough DSP memory: cannot connect PC Master 32k Delay .Tap1 and Mix1.In
It is often possible to solve this problem by means of a global optimization of the project.)
I click yes and then it says.
(A capacity limit of your DSP cards has been reached.
The specific cause is:
Not enough DSP memory: cannot connect MIDI output device .Out and sync to MIDI .Sync
You may be able to solve this problem by one of the following:
- Eliminate any unnecessary modules from project.
- Lower polyphony
- Lower sample rate)
I removed every module except the mixer and asio, MIDI i/o modules.
I didn't have any synths or samplers in the project, didn't try lowering the sample rate. I don't want to go any lower than 44.1
I tryed it with a different mixer. The first error was the same the second one said.
(Not enough DSP memory: cannot connect PC 256k Delay.out and 2 nix.In)
Also if I try loading the light version of P100 it makes no difference.
Thanks,
Michael

Hey Ganool and MOFO,
Thats very strange - Im able to load 1 full version of both plugins without any errors.
I have a Scope 1 and a Pulsar 2 board installed.
The A100 uses 18% more delay lines compared to P100 - are you able to load 2 P100?
How many DSP's do you have? Are you using non intel motherboards?
Cheers

Hi Warp69,
Yes I can load 2 P100's without any problems. My system is:
Pulsar II Scope 4 software
Asus P4PE mobo P4 2.53ghz 1024 ram
Windows XP pro

Well even if the lite version has less filters etc.. it probably still has the same amount of delay lines...
for those who maybe don't know, even if a delay line is not used it is still loaded to memory..
To Warp: that also means all the taps you are not using, I belive still get loaded ....

Hey MOFO,
I think the problem is that you only have 6 DSP's.
@EarlyFirst : If you set the volume to off for the additional delay lines in P100 they're not used (unloaded from the DSP's).
If you mean the 4k tap8 delay module in ScopeDP (or 32k tap8), then it should not use any PCI if the taps are not connected to any thing (according to Creamware). I have talked to Germany about this and they say that the modules dynamicly allocate PCI resources. But then again - you cant unload modules completely with the voicecontrol module. I think its about 70%. Thats the reason I dont have a switch (change between normal or lite) on P100, but seperate devices instead.
@Cannonball : Unfortunately I dont have a copy protection for A100 yet, so Im not able to sell it. Sorry.
Kind regards

Thanks Warp69,
Unfortunately it still won't load.
Can someone with 6 dsp's try to load both and confirm it's a lack of dsp memory.

Arrggg still won't load.
Don't worry about trying anymore tests I'll just have to buy another board.
Thanks Warp69
