Hi does anybody know if tascams US-2400 controller can be used with a scope/pulsar setup.

I asked this questions to Tascam and Creamware few months ago this is Tacam's response (after 1 day) " the US-2400 is connected via USB 2.0 and will be found as a driverless Standart MIDI Interface.

As communication Protocol with the Software it is using 4x Mackie HUI. So if Scope is able to handle 3 Mackie Huis in parallel it should be no problem to use it."

I am still waiting for Creamwares response.... In the meantime does anybody else know if Scope can handle 3 Mackie HUI's.

Creamware doesn't support mackie or hui at all.

But i use a tascam control surface, the fw-1884, and it is midi programmable, so i can control anything in pulsar, and also in Nuendo.

It support both mackie/hui and standard midi on differents layer. I suspect your only problem to controlling sfp with the us2400 is routing the usb midi port to creamware sequencer src. This is usually done with MIDI-OX pretty easily.

Just make sure before you buy the us2400 (look pretty f...ing nice ) that you can program midi CCs using the control panel.

If not, you won't be able to control sfp with it.

As an option, look at fw-1884, this i can guaranty it's working very very good with sfp, including the motorized fader to control STM1632 or STM2448
