Hi
I try to get Insert dynamics in a drum Subgroup channel (stereo). But it seems as if the insert would work only mono. In the normal chanel it´s working just fine (I have been testing not only one plug (all stereo))
Any tips?

Which mixer?
Try the "Link" button for the 2 buses...

sorry again. It´s the 2448. The subchannels are linked to a stereo channel. I´m quite sure I set it up the right way. It´s not that I don´t know how to do these things (but then again one can always miss some detail...)

You may have to pan the Bus channels hard L & R ?.....can't think why it shouldn't work other than that.

I had no problem inserting a stereo compressor into my bus 1/2 this evening.
Here's what I did:
- Loaded a 2448 mixer;
- Linked bus 1 and 2;
- Inserted a stereo compressor.
Is this what you tried Rogurt?
Just wanna make sure we're on the same page here about the meanings of "subgroup" and "stereo"...
Ciao for now,
Johann

Hi Johann
yes that´s exactly what I did and it doesn´t work for me. The compressor just works on the left channel (stereo comp of course).
But if you succeeded than I have good hopes that the failure has to be with me. Which you can cope with compared to a corrupted software implementation

Ah, OK. Will have to investigate further tonight.
I'm pretty sure I've done this in the past, but maybe I used MultiFX with a comp inside it. (There is also the possibility that I didn't use the inserts at all...)
Will let you know in a few hours.
Cheers,
Johann

Ah! I updated to SFP4. No more mono inserts on linked stereo Subs!
