We had great weather last week in Japan, so I did a tune with great energetic, healthy feeling.

Crystal clean high end. I'm wondering if it'll sound a bit too harsh on some monitors.

Uses In the ASS kicks. lol.
Rest is Sampletank2.
Really short, 1 chorus demo.

Not too harsh on my old jbls

Sounds like a slower redo of 'Celebrate'.

I´ve a nice fresh feeling after I heard it.
There is nice positive energy in it.
Yes, it fits to a sunny day like you had.

There are too many elements that uses the same high freqs, or maybe the elements are not separted enough.
You can hear it exactly on the reversed and normal cymbals, they sound distorted on my Tannoy Reveal and to my hearing. Yes it´s an mp3, I know but around 3kHz up to 16 or so, there is much happening at the same time.

But, I can see Ken enjoing a sunny day, walking to his gear and transport his feelings to a nice track, he won´t produce a super high end, million dollars bringing track.
He just want to say "hey, I had a beautyfull day, let me share it with you."

Thank you.

EDIT:
Heard it the third time now and I noticed that I had set a very low volume on my mp3 player and a very high volume on my amp.
I really like the rimshot/snare, it goes directly through my tympanic membrane. Yes, it still a bit harsh here. Anyway, SUMMERTIME, yeah.

yeah, you're quite right about the high zone. I think part of what's causing it is the reverbed 12string I'm using to sort of paint in the high end here and there. (especially during the chorus) What happened was that reverbing only the highs of the 12 string causes a sort of high end noise, which seems to add lots of chaos to the high end.

Anyhow, you're also quite right about this tune not being a million dollar seller. hehe. It's like "capture the moment" kinda thing, and I'm quite surprised you perfectly comprehended that from the piece.

Ah, it's time to get away from the PC and go out for a stroll in the great weather. (got typhoon right now tho.. )

Sounds like a cross between elevator music and the soundtrack to the latest feel good chick flick of the summer.
