sounds like a great tune for morning weather forecast, or maybe an evening forcast. Great sound as always. Kinda hard to comment on your works cuz they're all pretty much complete.

Great conga recording by the way. Is that you? How did you mic your congas? What set do you use?

Weather forecast. Hehe, I'll tell him.... Anyway thank you for your words.

I realize now that this version is missing alot, which must have been absent in the mixdownsituation. Bass in refrain, the organ doesn't have the right sound and some other stuff. I'll post a new version of this later.

The congas are made by PJ-Percussion, and is recorded through Shure SM-57, Neumann KM 184 and RØDE NTK as ambience.

And yes I played them as well as the other instruments.

Keep smiling out there...

Yes, the organ should be replaced by another sound/instrument. what could also be nice is hamonizing the voice (with real voice extra recordings! ) in the chorus and some other tracks. I think of Jorge Ben or things like that, but may be other kinds of hamony/doubling could do fine ...

and it's not very "weather forecast" to me hehe  (oh, I just heard there are already a few harmos on the chorus....)... mmm, i don't know (but i'm sure you'll do it fine)...

The main thing I notice is over-compression, to my ears. Try a slower attack, and higher threshold: as it is, a lot of the instruments have lost their "body" and are overly snappy.

Perhaps. I mean, who understands compression *really* ??!

Whoops, my bad. I'd left a compressor enabled in my scope project. lol
