i have just bought a tibetan bell and did some sampling session.
The tibetan bell is cup which can resonate like a crystal glass when a wooden stick is passed along his border. It can produce a very ipnotic sound, and it is used by tibetan monk for meditation.
WAVES samples includes 3 "hits" with full decay and 4 drones, three of them with loop. the loops are very long (10-15 seconds), so you can create evolving athmospheres.
There is also a kontakt patch that includes also an experiment with the "tone machine", in order to obtain a playable instrument like a flute.
this is a demo, entirely played with these samples in kontakt.
