I finished it! I'm so happy...alder body by allparts, french polish (first time I try..), vintage type 1979 fender original pickups, canadian maple neck with ebony fretboard, all recabled,regrounded and shielded (guitarnuts.com instructions: fantastic, you would say it has humbuckers)....sounds sweet with never ending sustain....I love it!

It has it, just not mounted, but yes, I like tight springs so the bridge is not floating and has better sustain...
