Howdee,
My Scope 4 installation was holing steady until today. I have a PowerPulsar and a Pulsar II STM'd together. This morning, I fired up my computer, got some messages about overload, optimize and retry, etc. Then I got the popup that asks you for your software keys. I downloaded a new allkeys file and fed it to the box.
Most of my plugins belong to the Power Pulsar, and they won't load anymore. It asks for the allkeys file, accepts it, but doesn't load the device afterward. The file under "Registry" in the live bar, only shows keys for the Pulsar II. I have uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled scope, preceded by doing this with both card drivers. It's not any different. I tried reinstalling the plugin-packs, that got me some messages saying the plug-in keys don't go with the board. Much to my suprise, everything's been activated.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Creamware's server not being available and then coming back up. Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Pete

James Brown, the hardest working (tech support) man in show business.

Since my emails to CW support seem to go into a black hole, and I don't know a toll-free support phone, I found other Planet Z posters recommending CW's Ralf Brown at rb@creamware.de.

I don't think it's a problem you fix on your own. I think mine was a booboo that happened through the buying and selling of cards, and the re-assigning of plugins and registrations. Maybe someone who bought or sold a card of mine emailed CW and things got confused when I activated my 2nd card, which is used. Maybe that wasn't the problem though...

When you email Ralf, include the "request string" that's in the middle of the blue popup that asks you for the keys.

Woops again,
it's Ralf Bach. Sorry Ralf.

I must have "Ralf Brown's Interrupt List" stuck in the back of my mind or something.
