Begins a bit quasi-afro rythm but then turns out into a rather pop orientated chord progression with a cute girlish theme.

I guess I'm kind of pushing my 12-string patch to the limits as it's the same one I used in the other pop-ish tune. Somehow, the 12-string in sampletank2 has great harmonics that makes it sound particularly "pop'n clean". A bit looser on the quantize this time, but still with a clean sounding mix.

Great track. Love the mix of sounds - clunks and guitar and thick bass. Wonderful feel. I can easily imagine some vocals over this and think it would lift it another 100%. Very nice

You certainly KNOW how to write great pop. The best thing is like; it's familiar - but original. That's a really hard thing to do.

Any plans for some vocals with this one?
I can see the Saturday morning top 40 video clip in my head already
I'm guessing when the execs spin it - they'll leap at it.

Well done

Got a strange situation.. (along with the other pop tune) The vocalist traveled 5 hours to my place on monday, only to tell me that she wants to write out all the lyrics before we work on anything.. so, nothing happened on Monday. And then she tells me she's heading back to Finland (she's half Finnish) on June 10, and I'm going to be away this weekend, leaving only 7 days max for work. By now I'm asking myself why in the world didn't want to work on anything on monday when we have so little workdays left, and if she lives so far away (5 hours is very far)...

But anyhow my standpoint on this is that I'll just prepare and record her demos, and leave it at that. Her brother is already a big time selling artist at Warner, so if it's a deal, it's going to be quick. I mean, she's talking directly to the sub CEO level. (no A&R or middle man involved) I'd be in Florida by the time any serious work starts, but I think it's a good chance to meet some interesting people through doing some of her demos.
