Hi guys ,well after cheering about getting Scope 4 and problemless working with it until now, here is my first detected issue.
Cubase 5.1 (Windows 98 SE )couldnt recognize
the Asio 24 Source ,after trying to reload ,restart ,reboot, crash Cubase everytime when i
have the 24 bit source and 24 bit dest drivers loaded in my project.
With 16 bit no problems at all.The samplerate is 44,1.
Any piece of advice?.

Even if 24 seem lighter on the system, 32flt is actually easier to process for the pci bus and cpu... No need to pad 8 extra bit to travel thru pci bus PCI is 32bits, 24 bits doesn't travel onto PCI, need to pad 8 more useless bit, that more overhead and cycle lost.
I can acheive higher track count in 32bit flt using the 32bit flt 64 driver than using 24 bit driver in nuendo
But yes, you're right Gary, 24 bit should work perfectly well also... Bizarre...

Hmm...
I don't have a 32 bit flt ASIO driver....
I have an ASIO2 32 source 64
and an ASIO2 flt source 64
(as well as the DEST versions)
Which one are you guys using?

With the price on huge HD:s today, no man should be limited to only 30 GB for recording.
You sir, need a new hard drive!
