Hi I'm relatively new here. I just bought a Pulsar 2 card and just downloaded and installed v3.1. Since I don't really have enough memory (yet) to run Nuendo & SFP together, I thought I'd just try it with Reason, since it's ASIO device. It's kind of tricky. Has anyone tried it with Reason?? And while we're on the subject, since I'm running it with a Mac I will just route it through the asio. Will Nuendo have to only run on the Pulsar card when working with them both routing, or can I have something on my RME and route others to the Pulsar?? Since I can't get the whole thing going yet (because of the RAM) I figure I would just ask as many questions as possible, because it seems just a little like rocket sci...

Hey there! Welcome to the Z! You can send audio via asio from reason into SFP but you cannot control any of the devices in SFP with reason since it doesn't transmit midi. I don't personally use reason but I remember this from a previous discussion here. Hope this helps!

I use Reason 2.5 on a PC with SX2 and PulsarII no problems. It works fine with ASIO as a stand alone as well. I have never used any other soundcard with my CWA system so cannot comment on using it with RME.
