I have not posted for a while. No problems just this small one. I have just bought the Mod 111. I have not downloaded the manual as yet so I need some help until I do. Can I use patches from the Mod 11 in Mod 111? I am trying to record a Mod 111 track to some other audio tracks but the entire
project gets rerecorded. Maybe I have somthing connected wrong. Could anyone say?

You seem to be asking 2 different questions....
You can certainly use modules from Mod II in Mod III, but if a patch has been saved in a Mod II shell, it will always load into Mod II.
As for the recording issue, how have you got it all set-up?.....if you're recording to your sequencer simply route the outputs of Mod III back to ASIO dest [or Wav dest], either via bus outs or direct outs on your Scope mixer.

Thanks. I'll have a go at it now. I have the midi in and midi out connected to the in out on the module and the audio ins outs connected to the analogue source and and an in on the mixer.

Theres 2 issues with Mod2 vs. Mod3.. the shell and the modules.

Shell-wise, really the only difference is that the Mod2 shell has less bugs than the Mod3 shell, and lacks the MRC remote facility.

The main thing is that if a patch uses Mod3 modules, no matter which shell it's saved in, it can only be loaded if you own a Mod3 key. You don't load a patch 'into' a modular: each patch is effectively a device in its own right.. you don't even have to have any modules installed in order to load a patch, although of course you need the keys!

Hope this makes sense.

I have the Mod 111 keys but somehow I keep getting a mix down from my other Audio tracks when I record a Mod 111 track. I need to have a detailed look at a project with it.

You mean you're trying to do an audio export from your seq?....
If so it won't include any synths from Scope...you'll have to record it in real time

No. I am recording more tracks to a project but the already recorded tracks is always being rerecorded with the new Mod 111 track. It seems as it is looping back from somewhere.

I just remembered you said you had the inputs to the Modular connected....is it something to do with that?.....If not, give me a few more details about how everything's routed and I'll try to help.

Plato. This is how I have it conncted:-
Sequencer Midi Source to Luna Midi Dest

Luna Midi Source to Mod 111 Midi in

Mod 111 Midi out to Sequencer Midi Dest

Mod 111 out 1,2 to Mixer

Luna Analog Source to Mixer

Mixer LR to Luna Analog Dest

Asio 24 Bit Source to Mixer

Mixer to Asio 24 Bit Dest

24 Bit Wave Source to Mixer

Why don't you connect the Modular output directly to your ASIO input? You're obviously recording the whole mix from the mixer back into your ASIO.

Yes, or (as I said yesterday) for SM2448, connect a set of bus outs from the mixer to ASIO dest, then assign the channel your Mod is on to the corresponding bus [don't have mix outs to ASIO dest]......OR plug the Direct outs from Mods mixer channel into ASIO dest.
Monitor the whole thing via control room outs.
Also your MIDI set-up is Knackered....
If you're using Pulsar Midi in, connect Pulsar Midi A source to seq dest, then Midi will go direct to your seq, from where you can assign which output port it will go.....Assigning Creamware MIDI out A in sequencer will make it appear in Scope at 'SEQ Midi SOURCE'.....then plug this into ModIII or any other Scope device you want to trigger.
You only need a Midi out from a Pulsar device if you are wanting to eg. record Knob movements as midi cc's into your seq.

[EDIT]:Hey dArKr3zIn, we're from the same town!

[EDIT 2] Abre, which sequencer are you using? Are you aware of what the WAV source/Dest modules are for?
