A friend of mine has just bought Stylus, a loopslice-something-gadget. I was so lucky to have some time off and he didn't use the studio, this little piece is what came from my first time fiddling with Stylus

The lyrics is just me mumbling without a script.
for the first time I've used the Wavelength Theremid - and had great fun
Neutrons Sonic Attack is the neverending one note through the whole track.
And a bunch of vst plugs

ridm is f*cking great

the track contains everything you need, it just needs a very tight arrangement, concentrated on cool intermezzo's alternated with sudden, controlled, explosions of energy.
Like it is already, but it should be worked out, the arrangement isn't perfect yet

quite bizarre

Thanks hubird
if you have any specific suggestions, please let me know. I do have kind of a unfinished feeling myself ..... should I extend it should I - should I ......anyway - I keep it on my harddrive for further processing

you need to create tension bows, with two principles of variation:
time (length) and tension amplitude.
the less sound you have at a certain point, the more tension you need.
Just start building the track, and create a working flow.
Imagine you're a dj and are responsible for their feelings, if they'd leave the floor you're down and out

I hope this advice isn't too stupid
ps. the intro is very nice, good timing, I'd keep that idea (voice is coming in too loud)
the first guitar (or was it organ?) sample part comes too early for me, there you can see you can win a lot when you'd delay it some time and build some extra tension before it.
If it then comes, after a short weird break (you have some already), it should be like

Later on you can do that again with the other sample (organ).
Just keep everything cool as possible.
I hope I'm clear a bit

This reminds me of a circus in hell. I like music with humor in it. You really know how to let go.

This is really something from my world - loved the ideas and the overall effect (gob smacked) . . . the arrangement just needs more light and shade/ contrast. I think you could do that very easily with boosting the guitar parts way up with a heavier drum track in those sections and a huge wide separation.
The rhythm is fantastic - just needs that little boost for the guitar bits to bring it out and thump it.
I loved the vocal lines . . . sounded perfect and twisted

I would love to hear any further versions you make of this - well worth the effort to keep working on it!!!!
P.S - I'm jealous as hell

I really like this, The main rythym works really well so I would keep this thru the intro at a lower level without overpowering the intro to keep people on the dance floor if that's where you want it to be heard. But it is very well mixed and sounds like something I'd buy off the shelf.

I would however play with the vocal eq a bit more to get it to sit back a bit mainly at the very start.
Cheers.

thanks for all comments. Lots of good suggestions. I will try to do ... eeeeh .. something

I dunno ... somehow I find it .... annoying to re-open projects, I want to move on .. aaand because I've made so many continuous bounces to keep my ancient 'puter from freezing. but I like the ideas, I'll do an attempt to finish the track

thanx to you all
