There's nothing kidding in there. So far, I've got two yesses from the same girl, and the latest NO a few days ago. I'm broken.

But congrats, I hope it goes better with you, Immanuel!

Huuuuuub - I can not see your smily. I want to see your smily. Huuuuub

Oh, and maybe I should clearify. No wedding is planned yet, but we do carry the rings now, wich is a strong symbol to the both of us. We got them today - choose them together - where very equal minded in taste - only sligthly different first choises - untill suddenly we saw a pair, that we realy liked a lot both of us. What a joy, that it didn't turn out, so one of us had to give in.

She is so nice. I have these finger, wich my little brother calls "skeleton fingers". There realy isn't a lot but bones in them. If I was to carry the ring on the ring finger, I t would sit rather loose and annoy a joint on my little finger. So she let me carry it on my index/middle finger. When we went from the shop the first time (they needed some time for ingraving our names), I got to think of my guitar. I needed to chose a ring size, wich was extremely hard to get on/off, so it would realy be annoying, if I had to do that every time I was going to play guitar. So we thought "better on the wrong finger on the wrong hand, than in the pocket". After all, it is for the symbolic value we did it - not for pleasing traditional customs.

I would not expect every woman to accept this, but that is one of the beautifull things about her. She realy has a high tolerance in many ways - without loosing her own dignity. One example: A few weeks ago, I added a great deal of rockwool to my studio/living room/bed room (it is all the same room). When she came to visit me (we do not live together yet), her first comment was: "well, they are not as ugly, as I had expected" (still she used the word ugly ). Then I made her clap in the section of the room, that I had treated with the rockwool. I had done this to her several times before, when I was moaning about my terrible acoustics (2 seconds of flutter echo). When she clapped, fire lit in her eyes: "I am so happy for you, that you finally have gotten this fixed (Big smile)".

I feel very previledged, that this wonderfull human being has choosen me for her life companion.

great girl

I don't know what's wrong with the icon, anyone else having problems with it, this one or other ones?

Glad you like smilie Image
Nothing special BTW, it's a red balloon, obvious lifting high

Great to see other icon posts, specially when I don't know where they come from.

Today I did a smilies search on Metaspider, searching at once on all the big search machines.
In no way I found anything better or bigger than 'my' crack smilies, to my taste at least.
I'm even more beginning to reach the point I have to use them twice or more, what I don't like, at least not with the special ones.
Anyway, this thread isn't about smilies, it's about
