as fortune said, the new site is online!
http://www.cwaudio.de/index.php
this is great, but unfortunately, i don't see any download yet!
a question: with the new scope "home, project, professional", the old pulsar 1 users in which category will fall?!?!?!
i see that luna owner don't get the synth pack 1,2 and FX pack1, which i now own and use in every project. i hope that with Scope 4 our package will not be "downgraded"... my hope is to fall in the "project" category...
is it true... RIGHT?!!?!?! (which will be marvellous... we'll get the mix pack1 and the fx pack 2! )
the worse thing i read is that to use the scope SDK one need 14 DSP... i have 11!!!!!!!!!! these means that the world of scope deviece maker will not have my contribution!?!
and LOOK!!! they are speaking about FLEXOR 2.0 and new Adern devices!!!!!!!!

Wonder if Flexot II is completed new, like a add-on to the Flexor i allready got?
I would like to see news about Noah as well.
So, the doors just opened, maybe i take look and visit them later today (i live in Frankfurt)

"The new SCOPE 4.0 software will be available before Easter for all existing CreamWare users on CreamWare’s web site free of charge."
I still think its unlikely we'll get free plugins (and certainly none taken away!)!
I think the site looks cool

"The SDK requires a 14 or 15-DSP board to operate. We will publish further information on how to obtain the SDK on this website shortly."
I noticed this on the SDK page, perhaps there is a new 14DSP board coming out?

Yeah, that's pretty weird. And a shame the SDK is only for the "big guys", unless they are also lowering their hardware prices...

if you look into specifications, you see
NEWS in Version 4.0 (for project version)
· now includes a large plug-in pack (Synth'n'Sampler OR Mix'n'Master Pack)
· now includes the STS-4000 sampler
· now includes the Modular II synthesizer
now, CWA has to define how will be treated the existing user will be users!

Also the Pro One seems to have been redubbed the ProTone...

I'm sure existing users will not get the plugin packs for free, although maybe there'll be a discount. I'm also very sure your SFP won't be downgraded in any way. That would be silly.

Lots of 'page not finished' but overall things look great. Kudos to the designer and Creamware in general, can't wait to download 4.0.
Also nice to see Adern get the front page treatment

Took me a while to realise that there are still links to the left of the 'page not finished' images, so many of the user community and download pages are in fact there.

i am of the same opinion. i think we, for sure, won't get the megapack (mix n master, synth n sampler) for free (maybe with a charge), but i hope at least to get the mix pack1 and the fx pack 2!

(or at least an heavy discout on mixpakc1 and fxpack2

)

This new website looks VERY good!
another step to a professional supplier image.
Congrats creamware to the new approach you are taking. Everything looks very promissing, so i can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next few months

well at least ver 4.0 has got to have
s o m e updates/goodies right?
AND on the products/SCOPE HOME -page it's announced that 4.0 will contain sts-4000 and Mod2.
since the SCOPE HOME will be the new equivalent to luna2 maybe there's hope...

I notice they refer to their cards as processing 32 bit float and not integer anymore. What is with this?

Check out this page:
http://www.cwaudio.de/index.php?lang=en ... l&submenu=
If you scroll down the page it indicates"
"The Synth&Sampler Pack is an optional component of SCOPE project and a standard feature of SCOPE professional. With Minimax, Vectron, SB-404, EDS-16i, and STS 5000, this collection includes some very special highlights:"
Here's where it gets interesting... It appears the following are also now included:
Adern Flexor 2.0
Zarg Solaris 2.0
Prodyssey - Analog-Synthesizer
proTone - Analog-Synthesizer
B-2003 Drawbar Organ
Six-String
Although, I just wonder if the web site hasn't been reviewed carefully and it's a mistake. Hopefully someone will clarify what all this means - and exactly what current users can expect as far as the upgrade.

i guess u refer to
http://www.cwaudio.de/index.php?seite=s ... er&lang=en
and if u scroll further down it says:
"An increasing number of additional superb synthesizers – some of them made by CreamWare while others have been designed by third parties – are -optionally- available for the SCOPE platform. The following is an excerpt from our current product range: "
and those things follow

If you'd actually read the text you'd see that that they make it very clear that the "Synths'n'Sampler pack" contains only a few specific devices. After it lists those devices, it says the following devices are available optionally (ProTone, Solaris, etc.).
I think the DP kit is only available to 15-DSP cards because the 15th DSP chip is used for specific routings and controls, which isn't present on the other boards. As for "14-DSP" cards, they're the old 15-DSP cards, but they're not listing the the 15th DSP chip because it makes it confusing for most people. ("You have 15 DSPs but you can actually only use 14 DSPs, because of such-and-such reasons...")
I don't think anybody is going to get new devices for free: it has never worked out that way. When they talk about software bundles, they're ALWAYS referring to new cards. Existing card owners get new software, but they keep whatever devices they currently have.
It looks like the Scope 4.0 software IS going to include new features; I seem to remember reading that somewhere. I just hope they fix their WDM drivers.
Well, the new Web site looks far better than the old one to me. All card features and software bundles are all easily accessible from anywhere in the site instead of being buried under a million pages. Also they've cut out a lot of the useless tech jabber and gone down to the crucial essentials. I'm glad they're now including screenshots of the routing window -- YAY!!!
Looks good! Now we can wait for Easter for the fun stuff! (Demos, software, artist profiles, etc.)
