Just installed xp pro, Pulsar 2 sfp 3.1c, hardware properties all working. Now iam testing windows media player and wont work due to soundcard issue- cant find audio device. P4, 256mb...Now i unable to gain access in bios due to warranty reasons, but the standard Mainboard soundcard is switch off in bios allowing communication only through sfp. Is this correct? Any other tips

The default settings should do it, you might want to review them:

Maybe the onboard card removal has left some traces. WMP uses Creamware Play/Rec# in Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio > Playback and Recording.
Is that Wave Source# loaded in a running, sample rate locked SFP?

Yes I'd check & make sure that your current SPF project includes a 'wave source' and is wired to the audio path.
