I'm a owner of ModIII, and I'm considering Flextor. But paradoxically I'm working foremost with my NordModular.
I'm not considering a G2 yet. But I'd like to know opinions of the advantages to have Flextor, concerning: fun, quality to get work more with my ModIII, instead of my NordModular. In other words:
Why should I buy Flextor? I've read the relevant sites, but I'd like to hear it from users.

I doubt I can add anything you haven't read on those pages, except that you might want to demo it (get it from CW shop) so you can try out at least some stock patches and see how Flexor sounds and works.

why buy flexor? i'm something of a modular illiterate (but loving every bit of it), and practically all of the best patch makers use flexor now in their creations. that's why...

note how since release of flex0r it is harder to find fresh patch that doesn't use it.

Filters do make a difference, waveshapers are whole new dimension, some i haven't seen anywhere else

Flexor is so inexpensive that I can't really see why *not* to buy it when u already have ModIII. A G2 will set you back considerably more!

Also the tools that Flexor makes available are geared towards very specific things to complement the well rounded toolset that ModIII already has, making it even better. Wait I'm a member of the flexor team too...doh!

I'm not a member of the team, but I'd still say go for it!!!
It's a really inexpensive way of massively increasing the flexibility and potential of your modular sytem, and it gives you access to loads of v. cool patches which have already been developed for Flexor.

You'll hear things with the Flexor patches that you won't hear with the stock MIII modular modules - honest !

im not a tester, and im not really an experienced patcher either. I bought Flexor early, and havent regreted a bit since. for me, the filters was the main reason, and the new sequencers, but thats just a SMALL bit of the sheer joy u have in flexor.

BUT as you have probarly understood from other threads/sites, it DOES get sort of DSP hungry when u go polyphonic. But damn, its worth every penny (plus probarly $100's more than the retail price, for people really into modulars)!

Oh, and with red_muze being as helpful as he is, u cant go wrong. big up to the muzo!

it ain't got no output, just input
so you can do only the other way around
ie CV2MIDI
