The "lyrics" are german, I'm sorry, but I was to lazy to do a english translation, to meet the requirements of an international audience
But anyway they are of no special sence and are more or less just an experiment with speech synthezise software.<br>

Very nice electro ;it remembers me on "Kraftwerk".The lyrics dont have to be in english i think.Very nice synths.

The lyrics definitely don't have to be in English. Remember lyrics are just another instrument in your composition. It's all about texture in my mind, unless you really do want the lyrics to be heard and understood. (Eg. Who the hell understands what those opera divas are singing about half the time).

Definitely very Kraftwerk.
I'm interested to know what speech synthesis you used because I can sing as well as a dead parrot (Norwegian Blue)and I have lots of ideas that need vocals.
More tracks like this please.

Neil - I've used "Read Please"
(
http://www.readplease.com) for this track.
It allows you to choose between different "people", which actually means different timbres. Extra timbres could be plugged in easily.<p>
For the track I recorded the different phrases as WAV and imported them in LOGIC.
Then I applied different online effects to the lyrics tracks. It's amazing what you can achive with a bit of reverb, chorus and very slight pitch shifting.

BTW: "Read Please" is commercial, but there are other free synths around. Take a look at

Nice thought behind your track.
Neil and I used the same speech programm for our Starchaser trilogy but not the german version.
The track is great I like it very much, it is very busy in a good way.
One critic I have though. What you think about to use the voices less or not so often?
I think it´s repeats itselfs too much. After the first sentences let your listeners work out what they have heard and underline it with your music. Then build up some breaks and solos and sent out the message again. I felt distracted by all this speech, the music went to much in the back.

The free version?
As Chris said, we used this in the Starchaser tracks - I was just surprised by the naturalness of your vocals. Obviously it was how you did the pitch shifting. I could only get "movement" by adding question marks in the wrong places and spelling words wrong to get their length or emphasis right.
