Hello,
I'm just about to optimize my PC Setup for PulsarII and now that I disabled Plug'nPlay, switched from ACPI- to Standard Mode and did most of the other things creamware suggests to do, I can't run XTC-Mode no more... when I start Logic I get a message that Creamware application is not running and ASIO ports are therefore not available.

Another thing is that in SFP's Standard-Mode from time to time I get a message that SFP has indicated(?) a problem and must be closed. (I had that problem from the beginning not only since I started optimizing my system)

...guess that's all for the moment...

'd be nice if anyone could help me...
thanks,
Gockel

Hm, that's not too much help yet...
please if anyone knows a tip, or if i need to give more information, tell me!

There's one more problem:
if a track in logic is set to record-ready and i switch to SFP-Window (or any other non-Logic window) I get an error:
"system overload: ASIO was not able to process all data in time"
It's quite annoying!
please help!
Thanks, Gockel

Hi again,
again, one more problem...
In order to avoid monitoring latencies while recording with logic, I send the direct signal to the monitor instead of the return signal (so from the mixer it goes to ASIO dest ( ->Logic) AND to the monitor mix). Then I mute the return signal, so I don't have both signals on the monitor.
Now I don't have latencies anymore, but I think I can't do a punch in record, because I can't listen to the previously recorded signal anymore. Is there any possibility to do this?
hope anyone can help...

Let's deal with the first portion...

What version of Windows are you running, and what is your machine?

Also the XTC problem sounds like your XTC.pro may have changed. I believe someone has posted the default project for XTC.pro somewhere on planetz.

Hi Valis,
I`m running Windows XP and my machine is a P4C800E, P4 2,6GHz with 512MB RAM and a Matrox G550. And a 400W Power Pack, if this is of any use for you. Hope that`s all information you need.
I`ll try your suggestion about the XTC Mode... I`ll tell you if it worked.
Thanks for your help...
