Anyone experience problems recording to the 24 bit wav driver, specifically when recording to Wavelab? 16 bit works fine, 24 bit the level is way to hot.
I remember this was discussed before, but I don't think there was a resolution or workaround...
btw. the 24 bit alt wav driver does work for recording...?

I don't use wavelab. Not sure what's problem but I do use 24 Bit, it seems be fine. How about Play arround with latency setting.
Hope this helps,

That's just the thing, no matter what latency at least one channel of the wav driver is constantly in the red, even without signal input.

I use wave 24 bit source and dest with wavelab. In 24 bit alt mode recording and playing works fine.
If you have problems, try using ASIO drivers. They work fine too.

"Alt" meens alternative command set for wave drivers, because standard set has some limitations (or something like that
