I have been running Pulsars 2 for 1,5 years under WinMe without significant problems.
Recently I've had to switch to Windows 2000 because of necessity to use latest Sonar wich doesn't run under pre-XP/2000 windos.
And out of the blue I've experienced problem with CreamWare Pulsar driver which does not want to go in 24-bit.
In System>Device Manager>Sound Video&Game Controllers>Creamvare Pulsar 2>Settings>Preferred Bit rate all options are gray (disabled) but 16 bit one.
Consequently Sonar 3 neither goes in 24 bit under Options>Audio>General>Audio Driver Bit depth sending Error Message of "The default Audio Format is not compatible"
The comments in the manual and on this web site are extremly confused.
Can anybody explain in lay terms what I have to do to enable 24 bit option?
I'd be very grateful, guys!
