New p4p800 p4 3ghz machine up and running. I just installed pulsar's windows drivers, and went back to my old SFP install directory to find that executing from there actually works just fine. So, I left it that way. Went back into Logic where logic couldn't find the ASIO driver for pulsar.
So, what do I do to make the ASIO driver work? Is there a specific file I need to copy to a specific place? Or do I need to "really" re-install SFP and not just run it from my old installation?

I just came up with this "cheat"
Maybe you can fresh install SFP 3.1c. Then you delete the entire SFP folder and replace it with you old back-uped SFP folder. My guess is, that you will have a perfectly installed SFP ... with all your old settings.

Definitely install SFP, perhaps in the same directory. You might wish to backup all you presets and projects.

I think reinstalling SFP is in order. From poking around in the registry a few weeks back, I recalled finding ASIO drivers to be DLLs that are registered under a specific key in the Windows registry. I double-checked just now, and that appears to be the case. So presumably, Logic can't see the scope ASIO drivers because they are not registered.
Installing SFP again is probably the safest way to get what you need, but bear in mind there is path information in they ASIO key-values, so after you install be sure to manipulate your SFP directory of choice such that it has the same PATH as the installation.
Hope that helps,
Bill D

Hi,
did you run a regcleaner after installing SFP?
In my case my host didn't find ASIO either.
Reinstall SFP and put your hands away from registry!
