Hi all,

first time post here, apologies if this topic has been covered before and I missed it in my search of the forums.

To the point:
Installing Pulsar card/software on PC.
Have ACPI disabled on my WinXP install (ie. installed in Standard mode), but no matter how I assign things in the BIOS my AGP card is always set to the same IRQ as the PCI 2 slot.

Is this a standard or am I missing something in my BIOS? Seems kind of stupid to have the AGP slot and PCI 2 default to the same IRQ as conflicts would be expected. Anyone else experienced this quirk with their mobo?

I have my Scope SRB on PCI 2, I know I could just move it to a different PCI slot, but I have a few other PCI cards installed and would like to avoid swapping PCI cards around if possible.

System info:
Athlon XP 2600+
Gigabyte GA-7NNXP mobo
Matrox G450 AGP graphics card
Scope SRB with Plus in/out daughterboard
UAD-1 (2)

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Great forums BTW!

Most Gigabyte have Slot 1/Slot 5. This results in Slot 2/AGP. I think you have to swap, sorry.

Thought it might be something like that, thanks Micha.
