I forgot to mention on a previous post that I have also a Powercore and UAD-1 along with two Pulsar II cards.
Even without using lan and FX teleport when adding effects to both uad-1 and powercore there comes the PCI limit error.
When using the two pulsar cards and the UAD-1, disabling powercore everything goes fine ( I am using Cubase 5)
When I try to enable powercore then "PCI limit error".
Late tonight I thought of disabling the onboard Promise IDE controller ( I am using just for CD recording device).
Although I just checked it twice only, I didn't see that horrorous pci limit error message.
I hope when checking back tomorrow will be able to be a lot happier.
I was thinking of getting ,when money will be ok ,a third pulsar along with powercore and UAD-1. That would be great but I am totally scared of adding another card to my system.
I may be looking to the direction off adding a Pulsar to my second PC and using it as auxilliary rack and synth expander.

Do you think a powerpulsar or SRB expander would add to the PCI bus more heavily than just a Pulsar II ?

depends on how many delays and reverbs you use...removing the promise controller was probably a good idea, another card might be a bit much for one computer...why not use another computer as an effects rack,if your mixes are that deep....makes sense to me.

Finally it is not actually the Promise card problematic , but POWERCORE.
UAD-1 works fine along with the two pulsars and the IDE and Lan controllers.
Powercore cannot work with Pulsars.
Period, if powercore will not come up with a better driver I will sell it.

Hi I am running 2x Poercore 01, 2x UAD-1, and a Pulsar II at the moment, using Nuendo. And it's working.
